H-beam assembling Machine can quickly and accurately spot weld the flanges and web together, which significantly improves the production efficiency. H-beam is made of two flanges and a web, and the position of them has direct impact on the qualified rate of finished products.
H-beam assembling Machine is composed of main machine, a draw bar centering system, input and output roller conveyor, hydraulic system, electric control system and CO2 Gas Shielded Welding machines.
The main machine is made of a gantry frame, a buck-boost beam, an upper cylinder and a base, a web and flanges automatically centering system, aligning equipment, welding torch fixtures, a main transmission mechanism and a conductive device.
The gantry frame is a door-type one, with four rectangular rails on the gantry column, through which the buck-boost beams can make smooth movements.
The upper press roller is fixed on the up-down press beam, pressed down on the workpiece by the push of upper press oil cylinder. The material of the roller is 35CrMo, which precision and abrasion resistance improves significantly after heat treatment and the grinding machining.
The base is steel plate welded frame type structure, the two side walls of the base install a flange and web automatically centering device, which installed holes are made by boring machine, which ensures the precision and reliability.
The flange and web automatically centering device is a key component of assembling machine; its structure determines the processing precision and efficiency of the assembling machine. The assembling machine made in our company adopts hydraulic drives and the structural principle of centering both sides simultaneously, i.e. the flange and web centering device installed on both sides of the wall moves to the middle by the driving of the hydraulic system, automatically clamping flanges and web of the H-beam together to the middle position, which significantly improves the working efficiency, and also makes the operation easier and more convenient.
Aligning device mainly plays the role of aligning the ends of flange and web, and meanwhile the wheel on the aligning device can support the flanges, eliminating the welding line welded by welding machine between the flanges and web.
The torch fixing device is mainly used for fixing and guiding the welding torch in order to keep a rational distance between the torch and the seam. The hydraulic cylinder on the torch fixing device can drive the weld torch close to or away from the seam to achieve the automation of the process of assembling.
The main driving mechanism is driving by the motor and cycloid pinwheel reducer through jointer and the turning speed of motor is controlled by the inverter,so that stepless speed adjust can be realized. The transmission speed is controlled by the PLC programmable controller, which can achieve automatic exchange between spot-welding speed and no-loadrunning speed. The main driving roller corresponded with the upper press roller, is made of 40Cr, which precision and abrasion resistance improves significantly through heat treatment and grinding.
A conduct device is installed on the inferior-side of the main driving roller, and it is made of a carbon brush, copper cables and fix device. The Brush directly contact with the surface of the main drive roller directly, conducting the welding current of the workpice to the base in order to avoid the burning when the welding current flows through the bearings.
Draw-bar box centering system is mainly used to centre the flanges and webs initially, which consists of onedrive draw-bar box and twoidler one. Inside the box, there are one set of flange centering device and one set of web centering device, and the draw-bar boxes are driven by the two hydraulic cylinders installed behind the two boxes. And the two boxes transmit power and link with each other through the rod between them.
The input and output roller conveyor are made of rollers and frame, the two input roller conveyor and two output roller conveyor close to the main machine are driven by the chain linked with the main transmission roller, which ensures the linear speed of the roller and roller conveyor coming in line with the main driving roller.
The Hydraulic system controls the up and down of the press roller, the welding gun and the aligning device, the centering of the clamping wheel of the flanges and the webs, and the pre-centering movement of the draw-bar box. It is the power source of centering and clamping actions of the assembling machine.
Electric control system consists of an electronic control box, an operating box and cables, of which the main transmission frequency converter controls the motor speed, and the PLC programmable controller can make different application procedures according to the H-beam assembling process requirements. The inverter’s output frequency is selected by the PLC, and operation of them can realize circulation automatically. (Manual-welding assembling machine does not have a PLC programmable controller).
